Good call today, Voltaire. How low do you think they'll take the DOW? 8400-8500 would be about a 50% retracement of the up move and about a 10% decline from the recent high. I don't see them getting much more mileage out of this impeachment stuff than that. The real unpredictable variables in all this are the foreign markets' reactions to this retracement and continued earnings warnings. Both will contribute to volatility through early January, IMO, but the foreign markets' reactions could turn into one of those self-feeding frenzies again. Last year this time we got a second large down move after an apparent recovery from the first bout of "Asian flu" and then took off from there. I see a repeat lining up at this point. Rich btw, I am gaining a lot more respect for you and your angels each day. You seem to have real balance. Please keep posting.
