After all the analysts got finished giving Ray kudos they got a lesson in economics, ORCL style ORCL is firing on ALL cylinders and has already carefully estimated the impact of the Y2K sales nuclear winter. They will stand unscathed and they HAVE spent the time to do the due diligence on the issue. They have an apps sales strategy that goes straight at the heart of the technical problems with SAP and others. They have trained the entire sales force to deliver the message. And they have their expenses tightly under control, which is why I can't get a job with them right now...(oh well, maybe I can retire for a while on the stock). It was a very good conference call!
