Are you dis ro spectun me? Course it runs BAsicaA and even the new and improved GWBASIC. I bootlegged a copy of quick basic to boot (get it) I have you beat there sir, I have TA DA The first PET CBM 16k machine with 5.25 360 k floppy and sound and the 100 bps modem(yes the one you put the receiver in) I use it now, as a nice bookend with a green digital clock and the apple 2e on the other end has green fish swimming around. All in all, a nice $2900 pair of book ends that I bought Circa late 1970's as far as your 8088 (thas what my laptop portable is, onlu 640k(zounds)) But I do have a nice 8086 with a hercules graphic card I think I upgraded it to 256 K. Not sure. I'll have to go in the basment and search through the Land of computers that time forgot. edit I see I have a lot of spelling mistakes in this post... my apologies...my cat broke my mouse (no pun intended)
