As to missing bikini tops, I blundered onto a beach near Cete (France, Mediterranean) some years ago with my 10-year-old daughter and wife and noticed what I first thought were some rather muscular middle-aged men. I was there only because the daughter insisted on going swimming. The problem is, that if you are looking at the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, you can least stare at Eve's boobs with religious and art-loving reverence, whereas if you look around on the Riviera you are just a dirty old man.

W. H. Auden had a little poem that went:

Private faces in public places
Are much wiser and nicer
Than public faces
In private places.

To which I would add:

Private tits in private places
Make a better sight
Than all the tits in the world
In the broad daylight.

Meantime, where is our rational long term outcome for the market?
