well. K.E announced in Jan(or few months early) conference call that they were shipping around 1Mil/month and compared to that there is no acceleration. But in reality Q4 97 had close to 2.7Mil drives for the Qtr. At the rate now (which is 1M/month), we will have around 3 to say 3.1M for the Qtr which is not much of increase (less than 15%). So, looks like Zip drive sales go with the PC sales growth and WallSt won't be happy with that since the Zip penetration in PCs will be the same %. I want to see much higher numbers esp considering that both the drive and disk prices are lot cheaper Vs last year. If you want the meaning of accelerating growth, Check out CSCO's revenue for last 32 Qtrs or so. Any one Qtr revenue is always 8-10% higher than the Qtr before 3 months - Summer or winter does not matter. Is it any wonder that CSCO keeps going up while IOM is cursed like Allen's wife says??

I still have some hope left though but the proof is in the pudding. If Jan numbers don't give a +ve surprise for us, I think i will also get out of this cursed stock. There is limit to our patience too :-<
