Excellent point, Steve(sorry about your name, its been a long)! So let's commit ourselves to a search for historical truth on the nature of the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia. My hitorical journey has convinced me that the Jews were the driving force behind the Communist Russian Revolution of l917. Your journey has taken you to a different understanding. Is it too much to ask that we commit ourselves to truth in resolving our perspectives on the Communist Revolution in Russia. A sound historiography, one boldly committed to honesty and truth no matter how irreverant or "far across the forbidden tracks" of academia it may lead, will always drive away the cobwebs of misunderstanding.
Instead of taking only "isolated" slices, how about a broad cross secion of opinion from promineent Jews and non-Jews of that period?
Here's a document taken from a prominent Jewish journal of the '20s that explicitly atributes the Communist Revolution to Jews. An interesting and relevant view from a prominent Journal writing soon after the Revolution.
