Jim: trying to get info on this one is difficult. Telephone calls to MacGibbon the President get you voicemail. Apparently they don't like to blow big bucks on I.R. which may not be such a bad idea anyway.

They have 3 projects currently underway any of which could be producing results.
1) They are doing 25 - 30,000 feet of drilling on Cheminus property in Larder Lake area. Drilling planned to be complete in 1998. NFX Gold (NFXG) is a j.v. partner on property. No apparent activity on NFXG stock.
2) They are involved in a j.v. with Aurogin Resources AUQ.v drilling some geological bets in Batchewana area of Ontario. The $350,000 program is supposed to be complete in 1998. There is no noticeable interest in Aurogin's stock.
3) Suspect market interest is generated by gold discovery in NFLD which is well detailed in their Nov. 9 news release. This appears to be a grass roots project with "mapping, geochemical, and geophysical surveys and possibly diamond drilling before year end."

The above information was gleaned from news releases over a month old. I'm assuming all projects are still underway and on target.

You've probably noticed stock seems to be tightly held. I have a hunch this company could be a winner but don't expect glossy brochures and websites. Their focus seems to be more on deal making and exploration than investor relations.
