That's interesting. I think a lot of that deal fell through, and we ended up with zip fair value? What is the fair value of a sector in the dumpster. NOT A WHOLE BUNCH.

More and more I learn sadly that stock investors who invest without a week or so of due diligence-- and then running that by actual persons who know what is going on-- are not a lot better off than beer swilling dock workers betting on horses. Like, what's the difference? The similarilty is that both lose most of their money.

This is serious stuff and I just wonder how many people do actually learn. Whether this will rebound or not, I don't know. But what we hold, OPPCF or Petroquest, I don't even know. Who cares when it's this low. Sad. Just remember that when oil takes off it is going to be a monster ride for those who bought low. This will be included, or it will NOT.
Who the heck can tell? What we're doing is gambling, and gambling has no certainty except that you can lose a lot of money.

I still hope of course that they hold the right leases. If you can't take a tax loss, do you really have any choice? Remember--what goes down usually goes back up if it isn't dissolved in bankruptcy.
