Tell-Labs - Smart Money pick, growing at 30%, analysts like it, etc. So why are you posting this on a Buffetology thread? Maybe the standard here should be "Would Buffett read this post?" I know the answer to this one. I can guarantee you that he does not read Soundview's analyst reports, or anybody else's. The LAST thing Warren Buffett would want to buy is a story stock being hyped by a Soundview analyst.

To be constructive, WHY DO YOU THINK THAT IS A GOOD BUSINESS? WHAT IS ITS LONG TERM HISTORICAL TRACK RECORD? WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN PREDICT THIS BUSINESS TEN YEARS INTO THE FUTURE? To be fair, I an others trashed you on Dell, but you had done your homework and taught me a great deal about that company and its business model - the valuation was the problem there. But I spend valuable time reading posts on a Buffett thread because I want to hear ideas from other people practicing Buffett investing. That takes work. I, for one, do not want to see this thread become just another "Hey, this looks like its gonna go up" waste of time. There are plenty of other places to read that kind of garbage.

I have done this on other threads - there have got to be some rules, written or unwritten. And if a bunch of other people tell me to back off, I will. But I think the investors like me taking their time to make this a place we can all learn from expect a stock posted on this thread to have at least some reference to Buffett investing.

And if you want to flame me - I don't think you do, we've had disagreements about Dell which we discussed very rationally, then please do it privately. This is simply about not setting a precedent that will destroy this thread.
