I agree. The hammer had no specific meaning for YILD since it was not in a down trend. Only that it did show weakness on the bears part in that they could not sustain the days lows. But I think the bad news is just beginning. If you reduce the two candles on 12/8 and 12/9 to a single dark spinning top, you have an Evening Star which indicates a bearish reversal. Lets watch and see what happens, but I would bet on the short side.

PS - Does anyone know of a product that provides a quick reference chart for candlesticks? Using Greg Morris' book is ok, but it takes a long time to leaf through looking for the patterns. I am creating my own cheat sheets with Visio but would gladly purchase some charts if they exist.
