I have no idea what "angle" or "suspicions" you are referring to. What I do know is that this discussion seems to be populated by a lot of people who are wearing rose-colored glasses.
I have bought and sold many stocks in the past, oil companies and others, that were all built on future promise. Not one of these ever paid off, and so I now try to stick to just the facts and fundamentals, and value the stocks accordingly.
Having said that, I admit that I first became involved with Tracer because of the future promise that could be created when a friend of mine, David Robinson, was going to be involved. His sudden departure caused me to take off my rose-colored glasses, and to look at Tracer with much more of a cynical eye. And I did not like what I saw.
Robinson has continued to lurk behind the scenes, which has kept my interest in the stock. Otherwise, based upon Tracer's track-record to date, I would have been gone a long time ago. I still do not see enough happening in Indonesia to get excited about - what will excite me will be some of the things that Robinson is trying to put together for Tracer, outside of Indonesia. |
