El- Given I hold some Compaq, I am hoping for continued (nice) appreciation (saw some already here, in fact), but what was this author smokin' ?

I can't see this happening for any (significant) length of time....IMO, Compaq's cost structure will not allow for this sort of hyper-growth... (Of course, it is meaningless to compare EPS numbers for the next few quarters, y-o-y)...
