Glenayre Expands Line of Paging Transmitters for European Market
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Glenayre introduced today the latest addition to its highly successful GL-T8000 series of high-speed paging transmitters. The low power GL-T8311E joins the mid-power GL-T8411E, and both now cover the full VHF paging band of 138-175 MHz. The GL-T8311E and GL-T8411E provide flexibility for economical system expansions, upgrades, or complete network buildouts.
The transmitters are designed specifically to the requirements of the European market and support all popular paging protocols, including POCSAG, FLEX and ERMES. Every GL-T8311, like all GL-T8000 transmitters, also supports ReFLEX25.
Glenayre's GL-T8000 series transmitters provide a highly accurate paging signal and deliver superior performance at extreme temperatures, making them the industry standard for high-speed ReFLEX, FLEX and ERMES applications. The GL-T8311E (125 W) and GL-T8411E (200 W) build on this strength by offering a more compact and rugged package designed to reduce the need for external equipment and associated interfaces. Additional enhancements allow for easy maintenance access of the transmitter.
