An interesting show of solidarity, to be sure, but unless I am missing something, what sort of proxy fight do we envision? I am as frustrated as anyone vis-a-vis the stock performance of late, but TAVA mgmt appears to be following their stated business plan by the numbers. If they really could influence the stock price, I think the SEC would be right there seeing how they do it! It sounds simplistic, but I feel that if they stay the course, the stock price will eventually reflect the true value of the enterprise, which I think is considerably higher than $5/share. As much as I love a good old-fashioned brawl, my vote is still with current management. Patience, while difficult to muster, is still a virtue! MHO, of course. (off soap box, back to lurk mode) Best to all, whatever happens, John R. |
