All: Thanks for info at start of LINUX thread and up till now. After installing Win95, and then 98 (more crashs than ever), I am frustrated beyond words with the gate-monopoly.
Under the 98 enviro, I monitor my CPU (not taxing it to the max) and still with less than 50% load, my system locks up with no way out.
I see the day coming when Linux will steal the hearts of novice geeks like myself who long for system tolerance. There's no perfect system, yet?, but on a daily basis when your writing scripts, I just can't handle this crap.
I plan on experimenting with the latest version of TopHat on seperate system, sounds like fun to me.....<ggg>
