Ok, I'm instructed. That doesn't make sense to me (it
does make some multi-bit errors detectable, I admit.
Expensive). But if that's the way it is, then 'tis.

So sure. With the right controller, parity simms support
ECC.

BTW, that ECC is very clever. I must look it up again.
I remember being impressed and delighted when I first
saw it (and that's about ALL I remember <g>).
