I don't have any official news on this, just unofficial, as follows:

I had a tech problem with my networking setup that was preventing me from dialing out. Called AOL tech support for help. After the guy fixed my problem, I asked about x2 availability on AOL.

Answer: "We are ready to go. The phone numbers are there, they are just masked over. As soon as Robot gives us the green light we will flip the switch. They (AOL management) are telling us February"
