Just a couple responses to your email about Nixon (sorry I'm off topic):

1. Nixon didn't resign because of the vote by the judiciary committee to recommend impeachment. He resigned after a tape was discovered that clearly showed his involvement in the conspiracy to cover up Watergate and hence obstruct justice.

2. In addition to obstructing justice, Nixon attempted to set up a private spy force (the plumbers) to spy on not only the democratic party, but other parts of the government. In other words, he was subverting the constitution of the United Sates.
Bill Clinton, on the other hand, had an affair(s) and lied about it. Sleezy? yes....reprehensible? yes.... but how can anyone compare that to what Nixon did?
