Really? What a surprise. My preference is growth stocks with a low PEG, and there are few which had a >400% Q3/98 yoy top line growth (as this is a bank I look at deposits) and yet have a PE '99 of only 30 (real-time quote is $22 1/2 now, exactly 30 times EPS 99e of $0.75 ;-)). I don't care about the label.

If I only could make sense of the short-term movements... My approach: my NTBK position has doubled since my purchase in the middle of October. I sold half of it near the recent top and will keep the rest "free of charge", so to speak, regardless of any Silencebeblesseds or Surelockhommes (sorry for this cryptic writing for all non-Yahoo board followers). If the price drops to the IPO range again I'll take another ride upwards.

Though the apparent attractiveness of NTBK for short sellers limits the short term upward chances they are maybe even helpful in the long term because they act as an "exuberance break" and prevent an early burn-out.

Best invest,
Jochen
