rude...

I don't consider Dell to be "idle money" because my timeframe is very long. I'm not a "trader".

I purchased Dell in Nov. 95 for a split adjusted $2 per share so I'm seeing exponential growth on my investment (and that is real money as well).

The reasons I think Dell will outperform CPQ are reasonable. Dell only has a 7% share of the CPU market and are outgrowing the industry growth rate several times over (at who's expense?). They have better products (read PC world lately?). They have a better reputation. Simple stuff like that. I'm sorry I can't offer you a better "technical" analysis.

I bought Dell stock because I had a Dell 486 in 1995, and whenever I had a problem with it, they offered me excellent service quickly.

Dell composes about 50% of my port and that's only because It has grown to be that large of a %.

My total port is up 122% YTD. I own quality stuff. I'm going long on all of it. But I wouldn't own CPQ.
