RE:" DRG.X YTD "

DRG.X - Pharmaceutical Sector Index +43 %

BGEN - BioGen +127 % -- not in DRG.X, but BTK.X
WLA - WarnerLambert +83 %
SGP - ScheringPlough +75 %
AZA - Alza +62 %
AMGN - Amgen +54 % -- also bellwether of BTK.X
PFE - Pffffitzer +53 %
ABT - Abbott Labs +47 %

MRK - Merck +38 % -- bellwether of DRG.X
GLX - Glaxo-Wellcome +37 %
AHP - American Home Products +36 %
BMY - Bristol Meyers +30 %
SBH - Smithkline Beecham +25 %
LLY - Lilly +25 %
JNJ - Johnson&Johnson +20 %

Well, what can you say... throw a freakin' dart, it beats SPY. I like to play the DRG.X index here, but WTH. Perhaps now everybody can see what a great pick DJ made with BGEN LEAPS this year. My picks were WLA, SGP and BMY. Bellwethers MRK + AMGN = +46% or, roughly the same as overall DRG.X index performance.

DRG.X index options, a sector fund, or just pick a few - makes a great balancer to TechSpaetzles, which is why we all do it (^_^)
