MVSI, Inc. Changes Name to Socrates Technologies Corporation And Ticker Symbol to 'SOCT'
LARGO, Md., Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- MVSI, Inc. (Nasdaq: MVSI - news) today announced that it has officially changed the Company's name to ''Socrates Technologies Corporation'' and the Company's ticker symbol to ''SOCT,'' effective Monday morning, December 14, 1998.
The Company also announced today that is has completed the transfer of its corporate headquarters from Vienna, Virginia to Socrates Technologies Corporation's (Socrates) facilities in Largo, Maryland. The costs associated with the transfer were insignificant. The Socrates headquarters phone number is 301-925-2200.
Technet Computer Services, Inc., (Technet) the Company's software development subsidiary, will retain its name and remain as the custom software development operation of the Corporation. The Technet headquarters phone number is 703-356-8606.
