Patrick: Whatever the trigger was it did have an effect, did it not?

Well, I always use mental stop loss points. I had to step out of my trading office for a few minutes this morning so, I set stop loss points with my broker. I almost never do this. However, on this rare occasion, I got burned today on several stocks. One stock I was short was EGGS.

The eight minutes prior to the pop up, EGGS traded approximately 50K shares. The first 4 minutes of the pop EGGS traded approximately 135K shares and for the next 4 minutes EGGS traded approximately 145K shares for a total of 280K shares in the first eight minutes into the pop. I do not believe individual investors could have reacted quickly enough to facilitate that amount of volume increase. It HAD to be MMs forcing short position stop loss triggers.

Since, I have been unable to re-establish my short positions and have become sickened listening to the Democrats act like the OJ Jury. I may well call it an early day today and reach for a beer, cigar and head for my smoking area on the patio relegated to me by my better half for such ill begotten habits….<g>

Such is this man's fate on a cold and rainy day in TEXAS!

BWDIK
Regards,
LG
