Thanks Steve, Took a quick peek at asiansources.com for SVCD players. Found some Cube players: "Decoding standards: MPEG-1, MPEG-2 " "COMPLETELY COMPATIBLE WITH CVD,SCVD,VCD 2.0,VCD1.1,CD-I,CD-DA" asiansources.com asiansources.com asiansources.com "CVD and Super VCD Player Using MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 Standards" - so it's safe to assume it's Cube based I guess. asiansources.com Three-Disc CVD Player - Guess it must be Cube again. asiansources.com I think I found some ESS players since these Shinco's players. However it says "Compatible with ver.2.0 VCD" which is not SVCD? They must mean "also compatible with ver.2.0 VCD" right? asiansources.com asiansources.com At this point in time there's far more VCD players listed than SVCD players.
