Let me give you my feeling on Mr. Kurlak. Having heard him speak on Merrill Lynch road shows before.

He is what is known as a high profile analyst. He's bold, he's controversial and he's a good speaker. In other words he sells stocks. This is the kind of analyst that a retail firm like ML needs. Would they ever replace him with some nerd who knew what he was talking about but had the personality of Wally Cox? Of course not! They put up with Kurlak's mistakes because when he speaks he generates the all-mighty commission dollar. All Kurlak is hoping for now is that Intel drops below his downgrade price so when he upgrades he can call himself a hero.
