Intel Chip Shortage For smaller makers,
That story shows why Dell may look with envy at a cheap AMD or CYRIX chipset but has not yet sold anything but INTEL. Dell is first in line for chips, not only as a reward for loyalty but they still have the threat of using someone elses chipset if they don't get supplied.
