Basically what you are saying is that you have no confidence in the company and/or its fundamentals, SEEK is only a short time investment vehicle, as in daytrading, and you are only speculating.
You are right, if that is the way you think, you should not be long at all.
However, there are some of us who daytrade, get options but also buy and hold a number of shares over the long term. Which I believe is good since the long range prospects for this company are just as good as Yahoo or AOL.
