theStreet.com ran an article recently claiming that last week's Barron's article on FDX (and by implication other haulers) ignored the substitution effect -- most interent sales replace sales over the telephone or by catalog. There is no great pile of 'new' deliveries expected from the growth of e-commerce. Just cannibalisation of existing direct sales. May want to take a look at it before loading up on the stocks on your lists... Dan G
