Rudedog - I have a question on your comments in regard to the amount of engineering that would need to be done for a manufacturer to use another MPU (AMD in this case). Is the motherboard the problem? I would think that AMD would be more than happy to make a great deal with another major boxmaker, supplying them with boths chips and boards (boards possibly thru a 3rd party). Or is it mostly testing the systems with the new chip/board and all components for 'gotchas'? Thanks, John
