Patrick,

I feel as though I'm between a rock and a hard place. As a Floridian it is logical to pull for FSU even though we are bitter rivals. It's still very hard for me to root against an SEC team (other than Arkansas) playing an out of conference opponent. I really believe the SEC to be the best conference and should be home to the National Championship again.

So I suppose I may root for UT but my money would be on FSU. If they come out and play defense like they did in the second half against Florida, it won't matter who roots for whom. If the odds do turn out to be 7 points it may be time to bet the farm.

It's important to point out that Hamm is not representative of Volunteer fans. Most I have met are good people and don't have personalities reminiscent of Rod.

I wish it were strictly a financial decision as I would would go FSU without hesitation.
