PartyTime, you are so overwhelmingly positive that I truly, and respectfully, doubt if you could even begin to appreciate the perspective of someone like myself who spends his whole life trying to "balance the facts and the equities" and assess for a court what is more probable than not in terms of human life experiences, logic, etc. Now, obviously, we should all agree that averages and median figures mean nothing on a case by case basis (like the 1 in a million chance of being hit by lightening, versus the unlucky sap who does not feel so lucky after getting hit twice), and there are as many exceptions to the rules as our imaginations may permit. And, you might just get "lucky" with this one despite the fact it is outside the "norm" or "mean."
Let's hope so, but don't let a quirk of fate, that rare bolt of lightening, also go to your head. On a "more probable than not basis" such optimism will get you into more trouble, and more losing positions, in the long run. |
