From the quoted article: In its last quarter, Dell fell slightly behind the overall market rate of growth in several of its businesses. Okay, where???? Is this simply a repeat of Kumar's nonsense which I thought I put to rest? As you may recall, he said that Dell fell behind the market growth for desktop machines, but he was using IDC data which do not show how many computers end up in the hands of the end-purchaser, and he apparently did not know how to calculate the growth of Dell's desktop sales, which, in any event was close to 10% sequentially. I guess that once of these prominent "analysts" publishes his nonsense it is difficult to squelch the noise. TTFN, CTC
