You will see Dr. Joanne Kurtzberg, of Duke University Medical Center, prominently mentioned in the article.

How is she connected to ASTM?

Dr. Kurtzberg is the lead investigator for one of the clinical trials that are underway to evaluate the AastromReplicell System that has been developed by ASTM.

Key observation so far: Better 100-day survival reported.
