This article is referenced on the Yahoo ULBI thread. The first several paragraphs are the most interesting for our purposes. They refer to a rising public interest in li-poly batteries. Later paragraphs indicate the costs of producing li-poly will exceed the costs of li-ion for some time. The reporter cites no authorities for the claim, however. I continue to suspect the claim will prove wrong rather quickly.
