Ridiculing the cloth? You have completely misinterpreted whatever it is you think I said. I may have no respect for the things that I hear to be attributed to the man, but that has no reflection on anyone's religion.
Do not even try to place that mantle on me, or to obfuscate the things I have said by wrapping them in a package that in no way can or should be attributed to me.
If in any way you feel that I have insulted anyone's religion, I truly apologize for that. However, if anyone, be it priest, rabbi, muslim cleric, or anyone else, becomes involved in political actions or lobbying, then those actions are fair game. Not the religion but the actions.
I will assume that your innuendo was meant in defense of a greater
cause then investing, and not to just color a debate.

BTW, My wife was born a Lutheran, and both of my children have been baptized, so if I seem a little put off and touchy about this, I hope you'll understand. I deplore racism and hatred of any kind, and am shocked to be accused of it. If you click on my name and look at my postings, you will see that I mostly post on the ASK God thread, where I mostly preach about acceptance of ALL people, regardless of race religion or creed. |
