PashaBear, I figure that RON is "dead in the water" until January 1st- but just in case I got in a little early. I mentioned that I participated in a Process safety Management review of a Cooper Cameron Facility (works mainly on compressors, turbines, and reciprocating engines) about six weeks ago.

PSM as you are probably aware is one of the best regulations ever put out by the US Government in this case OSHA in particular. It basically requires a company systematically integrate and review personal and equipment and process safety. In fact our company similar to Cooper Cameron have adopted a modified version of PSM and conduct all plant or shop operations pursuant to these guidelines. The Cooper Cameron Supervisors and Shop Foremen knew the PSM guidelines well, which is good.

Merrill Lynch did a study (unpublished) of the energy industry last year and concluded that there is a direct corollation between a company's good EHS program and ROFI's and ROCE's. My guess is that the same corollation will apply in the oilfield service industries too....

Also since everyone scorns OS stockswell IMO, this is where the value must be- buy "quality on sale" is what my stock market mentor taught me years ago. It is one rational way to make money n the markets. So I'm going to hold RON and hope for a 50%+ gain from the $22 1/2 area over the next twelve months....

Sincerely,

Doug F.
