Irene, I like a lot of the discounted country funds. I own many of them, but even like some I don't own at this moment. My total long portfolio is small, but with that asset allocation in mind, I see no reason not to make discounted CEFs a major part of a long portfolio. Favorites include APB, CH, LDF, FAE, APF, FAK, IFN, TCH, AFF, IAF, SGF, FPF, PKF, SOA, GTD, and on and on. The third world is on sale. MB
