you can BOOT DOS from NT,

Seems like the NT dos prompt would be sufficient for the time being. But if NT dos requires a separate Dos installed and you can
use a boot manager to pick from any of several OSs at boot up. it can boot any number of NT installs plus one
other operating system).
wouldn't the boot manager boot real dos from the same installed dos needed by NT for the NT dos prompt? I hope this is a somewhat clear question:-)

Yes.. that would be great. First I'd like to understand the dos boot frm hdd though..
