If your trades are not profitable at the high of the maket then it might be a good time to pick stocks that you know are volatile and then hedge your trade.

ie... Pick two internet stocks that trade similar patterns (seek, xcit) long one and short the other.

Ride them up, sell you long and then short more of the one you originally shorted on the way down.

Then do it all over again and again
