I think that a promise was made here, S.I. had some choice of suitors, and If memory serves, we won't be seeing ads soon if ever- part of the deal. Great bunch that started this! The membership fee is good- keeps some yahoos out- those who didn't sneek in early, anyway. The ads are there for non-posters. The membership fee is there to climb aboard. I think LIFETIME members get forever- while new members may not always get that offer...if I remember it right...so yearly dues is another possibility...if I'm remembering this right.
