I think the real issue is that FDR, Ike, LBJ, and JFK, if in fact they were adulterers, did not lie about such activity under oath. Clinton did.The issue is NOT adultery, the issue is perjury, obstruction of justice, etc. Perjury by Clinton is unacceptable behavior and should not be condoned because of the personal nature of the activity that he was trying to hide. I voted for him twice. I am still amazed that he is still trying to blame the messenger rather than the guy he sees in the mirror in the morning.

It is unfortunate for the country that this has become a partisan rather than a moral/legal/constitutional issue.
