HOW MANY VENDORS COULD BE ON THAT LIST? Great question that perhaps HWP will answer, if we ask?? On the otherhand HWP would be careful to list only y2k cos that are somewhat proficient and are solvent enuf to be around to honor warranties and future needs for service so it could give alyd some sort of repeat business basis if their services continue to diversify they would have a customer list of hopefully previously satisfied customers that would consider using alyd again on other service related items. Hey, Bob , maybe alyd could achieve revenues and continuity by selling all inclusive service contracts over a period of years for a flat predetermined fee like homeowners get when they buy a service contract on appliances. Finally FWIW what scares me more then the large number of approved vendors on HWP's list is the tons of vendors out there pitching the world inc. vendors from 3rd world countries with extremely low labor costs. Reminds me of all yhe gypsy contractors that descended on South Florida after Hurricane Andrew. They were here and gone,their work was shoddy and often non existent but they did put a dent in the concept that legit local general contractors would have a moonshot under these fantastic utopian times of demand being so much greater then supply. Legit contractors did ok,they had more work and held to their prices but the gypsies prevented them from striking real GOLD because they werent the only ones with Gas to sell. If competition is such a reality,why would there ever be a alyd moonshot??/ Hell buy AMT,they have a fairly legit lock on all the towers that the competing mobile phone services must lease to stay in business. Those competitors are slashing prices all over the place but sincerely & CORRECTLY believe that the untapped first time new customer base that exists out there is mind boggling. Query: I dont think you can make the same assumption wiyh pure y2k cos,can you??
