Dan .. you may be right about that, re: SI having a choice of suitors and requesting that no ads be placed on the SI site. However, I find it hard to believe that GNET or any other potential buyer would have agreed to a clause that stated that they could never place ads on SI. Perhaps a 1 year moratorium, but "never" seems like an awfully long time!

I've said this before, but having ads on SI wouldn't bother me at all - especially if the extra revenue allowed SI to have new features added at a quicker pace.
