Vitas,

We all try to nail the best entry point, but how many times have we really hit it. I may not have used the right words - of course we dont want to lose a penny.

In the context of that message, my system attempts to predict the turning point rather than with most systems which are linear, wait for upward movement. When dealing with options, which is my main focus now, it is normally better to be able to enter the trade before the turn since the time premium increase dramatically after the turn. I have seen cases that I have gotten into an OEX trade to early by about 6 OEX points(100 DOW points), but when it did turn my options were immediately almost back in the money. Thats a rare example, granted.

I guess it would have been better stated in the terms of a fudge factor.
