I don't quibble with much about your view here. But I do think that major figures in history get too much credit for the circumstances surrounding their times. Breaking the back of inflation has been a long cycle. Not a Bill Clinton exclusive province. Some evidence of that is the excess printing of dollars now not yet showing up in inflation. It will happen, it is just a long cycle.
