I spoke with the Command Systems spokesman regarding the proposed settlement agreement. He gave me the telephone number for the lead plaintiff law firm and appeared optimistic that the court would approve the agreement. The impact on earnings will not be significant since the majority of the award will be reimbursed by their insurance and other third parties. I told him it has been very frustrating trying to evaluate the prospects of CMND due to the self-imposed gag order. I explained that small investors have had to resort to counting help wanted ads to measure business activity - he said analysts have been using this method also. He indicated that IR is still restrained until the agreement is approved but they are anxious to disclose current projects once the veil has been lifted. By the way, he said they regularly monitor SI and other investor web sites to gauge investor sentiment.
