NBC is most involved in Snap, a sub of CNET

NBC has a nominal direct interest in Cnet, and has a much more substantial interest, I think 30% with an option to go over 50%, in the snap subsidiary.

NBC was most interested in the portal, and the overall valuation of cnet at the time made controlling the whole of cnet too expensive.
