Glenn and others:
Why is it that AMZN's stock price moved significantly higher last week
while BKS and Borders moved very little. Why aren't BKS and Borders
getting at least some recognition for their internet operations ? Finally, the survey results on consumer satisfaction with internet book sellers as reported in the WSJ yesterday showed that AMZN's book prices were relatively expensive compared to the low cost online sellers such as WAL-Mart but inexpensive when compared to list price. But who
pays list price for books in this day and age ? Borders discounts
best sellers by 30% in their stores and 40% online. Thanks for your
comments.
