Joe, thanks for the info on Bema. MDIN has publicaly stated that Asarco has visited the site along with various other Majors. I have heard various other majors as well but have no confirmation. I believe they are all extremely pleased by what they saw. I have heard a rumor that Homestake has been staking many, many thousands of acres surrounding MDIN's Santiago properties. What does that tell you? :) Keep in mind that MDIN has several incredible gold properties and several things going on at once. 1)Lipangue and it's smaller sister Las Dos Marias are the current big exploration target. IMO, Lipangue will have considerable more gold than Aldebran at a much higher concentration in a location that is much more economically attractive due to its relatively low elevation and promixity to water. No wonder Bema is interested. I base this on reading the House reports and studying numerous articles concerning gold deposits in Chile discussed in the Journal of Economic Geology. MDIN has elected not to JV at this point-want to drill first then JV-they will get much better terms after the drill results. 2)The placer properties contain over 12 square kilometer of prime placer deposits. They are very close to start up with an initial 10,000 ton/day operation-possibly fully funded by the Russians. The majority of the mining equipment is already in place. 3) Catan vein-high grade gold vein already being mined-don't know production numbers to date to determine how significant this operation will be 4) Andicollo-not mentioned in the last release. It is an open secret that MDIN has been dealing with a Major(bigger than Bema) to develop these properties. I believe we will see a joint venture annoucement shortly that will knock your socks off when you hear it. The Major has decided the Andicollo claims that MDIN has clear title are enough even if the somehow loss the Churrmata claims. Keep in mind the disputed Churrmata claims are a very small part of the claims held at Andicollo that MDIN has clear title to. Any more questions?
