TO: ALL Affintiy Technoloy Group making big name for itself. This news came out of the State Paper Sunday 1/19/97 Affinity Technology Group is having its signature event Thursday. That's when it will roll out the first letter of the sign that will soon be atop the AT & T Building. Except then it will become the Affinity Tower. Affinity will have a 17 foot by 9- foor letter " A" in the building's lobby Thursday where employee's of the company that invented the automated lending machine will gather. That will help kick off the company's first company's first employee's meeting, at which Affinity CEO Jeff Norris will outline the company's goal and outlook . That meeting will be held on the 25th floor of the Affinity building the Capital City Club. Columbia- based Affinity has gone through a torturous process to get its sign on top of the state's tallest building. It ran head - on into a city zoning ordinance that limits the square footage a sign can take up. But that's been resolved. Now, the company is waiting for the AT & T sign to come down. It expacts the Affinity sign to be in place next month.
